In March of 2025 I led a pedagogy workshop about how I teach (and completely mess with) one of Uta Hagen's classic Object Exercises at the Mid America Theatre Conference (MATC) in Madison, WI. This past year I published an article called "Spicing Up Uta Hagen's Object Exercise: Notes from the Field" about it for their online journal Theatre/Practice. Fifty Key Stage Musicals
I was honored to be asked to write a chapter for 50 KEY STAGE MUSICALS published by Routledge who describes it as "the ideal primer for students of musical theatre - its performance, history and place in the modern theatrical world - as well as fans and lovers of musicals." I was thrilled to write Chapter 9 about Mark Blitzstein's The Cradle Will Rock.
